Can VaultVitals read my health data?
No. Data is encrypted on your iPhone before upload, and we only store ciphertext. We have no key to decrypt it.
Where is my data stored?

Which data does it sync?
Any Apple Health metric you choose — heart rate, sleep, activity, nutrition and many more. You pick exactly what syncs.
What if I lose my phone?
You get a one-time recovery code at setup. Keep it safe — it's the only way to restore your key, and only you have it.
Does it drain my battery?
No. Syncing is event- and opportunity-driven (and the big initial sync runs while charging). No constant background activity.
